He has those Midwest roots, but chose to move out to Arizona to be a school teacher, as he spent 4 years teaching elementary Physical Education in Sunnyslope before realizing that he was going to pivot and become a professional firefighter. He likes challenges and to do hard things so he created a junk removal business and mentors cadets that are trying to get hired with local fire departments within the valley. He is incredibly busy, when he’s not at the fire station or running Code 3, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids.
