We can haul away your old furniture and donate it if possible or just haul if off to the landfill. We do charge a competitive rate, regardless of what we can do with it, but we try to keep as much out of the landfill as possible. At times, we donate to the fire stations or families of the firefighters. We also donate to the Salvation Army, Saint Vincent De Paul or a local Goodwill.
What we are able to do with the furniture all depends on the condition of the furniture and the needs of the donation centers at the time we remove the items. A lot of the donation centers are pickier than they were pre covid. Certainly, if you have the means to transport and lift the furniture yourself, this will always be the more cost-effective method. A lot of our customers do not own their own trucks and simply do not see the cost benefit of taking the time to rent a uhaul type truck. The cost of renting the truck and potential price of the dump fee has to be worth your time versus just calling Code 3 Junk Removal.

If you find yourself weighing your options, give us a call. We are happy to provide you with a quote once we know what items you want to have removed. To provide a more specific quote, it is always helpful to have pictures of the items you need removed but this is not always necessary. We just ask that you be as specific as possible on whether or not the items are on the second floor, if the sectional is a two piece or six piece sectional, if there is a hideaway bed in the couch, etc. Code 3 Junk Removal always sends either a two or three person crew and they do all the lifting and loading. If we end up taking your items to the landfill (again this is our last resort) we pay the disposal fees. The disposal fees are never added on after a final price is given to the customer. We pay the disposal fees if we are unable to donate the items.
